Okay, so maybe some of y'all have heard of the sock bun and are wondering if it actually works, well it does! It makes the most beautiful curls overnight. No heat!
Now for my hair since I have layers I divide my hair in half and do two
separate buns to get all the hair in. One on top of my head and one on
the back. If you want longer lasting curls you can also add a
small amount of curling mousse to your hair before you put the sock bun
on also. This is what my hair looked like when I took it down the next morning. Not too shabby, I say.
But to get it exactly right you might want to touch up any ends or pieces that may have formed odd or didn't take to the curl. My ends for example was needing some TLC. So to learn exactly how to put your hair into a sock bun watch this video. All you will need is slightly damp hair, a sock that has the toe end cut off, curling mousse and a few hours to let your hair take to it.
Happy hairstyling! Here is the video that I watched to learn how to do it. http://youtu.be/3FV-YO46E8Y
